Business Mixers
These popular after-hours networking opportunities are held throughout the year, usually once a month. The $10 admission ($15 for prospective members) includes food and beverage. This is a valuable PR opportunity for the host member, allowing attendees to experience firsthand the ambience and services/products you have to offer. 

Brown Bag Seminars
The Brown Bag Lunch Program is free, open to both Chamber members and the general public. Attendees can bring their own lunch and eat it while listening to qualified professionals who will present a variety of practical, useful topics of interest to business owners, employees and the public. Opportunities for sharing expertise and knowledge are available to member businesses. The seminars are held 12:30–1:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the Turf Club, Monterey Fair Grounds, unless noted otherwise.

Ribbon Cuttings
Ribbon cutting events offer exceptional marketing opportunities for member companies. In addition to extending invitations to all members and the community at large, the promotion and publicity exposure that attends ribbon cuttings makes them one of the Chamber’s most sought after benefits.

Quarterly Member Briefings & New Member Orientations
These important evening reception/meetings feature the members of the Chamber of the Board of Directors presenting highlights of key areas of Chamber business. These events double as crucial membership orientation sessions for new members.

Business Excellence Awards
The purpose of the Business Excellence Awards is to increase public awareness of the vital role business plays on the Central Coast and to bestow recognition on those businesses that have achieved excellence in their field. The winners in each business category automatically become finalists for the Business of the Year award, which is awarded at the Annual Dinner in March of the following year. An additional feature is the Adopt-A-Business program, which provides the one recipient with selected consultation at no charge from members of the MPCC for twelve months. The presenting sponsor for this prestigious event is First National Bank of Central California.

Annual Awards Dinner
This black-tie event celebrates three community awards: Citizen of the Year, given to an individual who has made a major impact on the Peninsula; Ruth Vreeland Memorial Public Official of the Year, awarded to an individual, elected or appointed, whose dedication to the community inspires others, and; the Robert C. Littlefield Award, established in 1981 and presented to the member whose commitment of time and energy best honors the example set by the award’s namesake, who was largely responsible for reinvigorating the Chamber. Other awards are: Business of the Year, selected from among the category winners of the Business Excellence Awards held the previous year; and Volunteer of the Year, selected from the twelve Volunteers of the Month for the previous year.  Presenting sponsor for this event is Monterey County Bank.

Monterey Bay Business Expo
The Expo offers an excellent opportunity for business leaders in the entire Monterey Bay region to showcase their products and services to hundreds of potential customers and clients, provide samples, sell products and build awareness among the general public. The event includes food and beverage samples courtesy of member restaurants and wineries, a raffle, as well as a multitude of door prizes.

Annual Membership Luncheon
This festive luncheon is held in January.  It officially inaugurates the new Chamber Board of Directors, highlights the activities planned for the year, and provides recognition to long standing members

Annual Leadership Luncheon
Each year the Chamber hosts the public officials who serve our ten communities at the national, state and local levels. 

Chamber Golf Classic 
Our annual golf tournament features 18 holes of championship golf, challenging contests, relaxed networking, and awards ceremony with a great mixer. This is a great way to treat yourself and gather business leads. Spend the day in the sun as a thank-you to clients, or with your staff as the kick-off to your sales incentive campaign for the year. Team sponsorships are available. A trophy is awarded to low net foursome, with prizes given for 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd places.
